Elevated Latency - Satellite Tracking API
Between 11:38 and 11:56 IST, some requests to the Satellite Tracking API experienced elevated latency (p99 increased from 65ms to 210ms). The issue was traced to a TLE catalog ingestion backlog following a large Space-Track batch update. The ingestion pipeline was scaled up and latency returned to normal levels. No tracking data was lost.
Scheduled Maintenance - Thermal Simulation Engine
The Thermal Simulation engine was unavailable for approximately 12 minutes during a planned GPU cluster upgrade. The maintenance window was completed ahead of schedule. All other API services were unaffected.
Intermittent Timeouts - Conjunction Analysis
Approximately 0.5% of requests to the Conjunction Analysis API returned timeout errors between 09:05 and 09:22 IST. The root cause was identified as a temporary resource constraint during a large conjunction screening run. Traffic was rebalanced across availability zones and the issue self-resolved.
Degraded Performance - Developer Dashboard
The Developer Dashboard experienced slow page loads (3-5s vs normal sub-1s) between 15:20 and 15:44 IST due to a database connection pool exhaustion triggered by a spike in API key generation requests. Connection limits were adjusted and performance returned to normal.
Certificate Renewal - API Gateway
TLS certificate renewal for api.rotastellar.com was completed successfully. A brief interruption of less than 30 seconds may have been experienced by some clients during the certificate swap at 03:00 IST. No errors were reported.
